Ms. Marci stays up until at least 12:30 am most weeknights because she has to watch Comedy Central's sort-of-gameshow @midnight, partly because she has a huge crush on host Chris Hardwick and partly because she's the self-proclaimed queen of their interactive Hashtag Wars on Twitter.
Well, I'm glad she didn't miss it on Wednesday night, because THIS HAPPENED:
We all loved that so much.
Other things that happened to me this week:
Today, an interview I did ran on Grub Street. That was fun.
I actually woke up remembering to say "Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits" this morning, being that it is August FIRST. If you forgot, you can always say "Rabbits, Rabbits, Rabbits, Tigger, Tigger, Tigger" right now. (Unless you are in public and your pride is greater than your belief that saying this will guarantee you a super great month. Which I would understand.)
I went into a co-dependent spiral on Wednesday where I was so busy figuring out how to solve things (supposedly) for all these other people around me and so fixated on what other people wanted that I couldn't even access what I wanted enough to make the most basic decisions. My heart was pounding and I couldn't even decide whether to go back to the office or to my apartment to work, as if that were the most critical decision ever and would have life-altering effects on all of us if I decided incorrectly. Lord. Has anything like that ever happened to you?
If you can't relate or don't have an answer to that, no worries. It was just my little thing this week.
And here are some other ideas for what you can talk about here:- What's your current can't-miss TV show? Or do you not have cable? Or not even a TV?
- What's the last thing you asked for help with?
- Do you keep a comb in the shower?
- Should celebrities tweet about their Gaza opinions?
- Who would play you in a big-budget film about your life?
- Who would play you in a TV movie about your life?
If you're new here, I'd like you to know what the regulars know: that you're not limited to just those topics. You're free to talk about anything on your wonderful, complex mind. Just be prepared for some of the most heartening online interaction you've ever experienced.
