Celebrate Mariah Carey's New Album With The Nail Polish That's Basically Mariah Carey In A Bottle!

So while I’ve got Mariah on the brain, which is always, really, it’s only fitting that I should have a little Mariah on my nails as well. THERE’S A NAIL POLISH FOR THAT.
Gather round, lambs. The day is finally here. The icon, legend and physical embodiment of the word “diva,” Mariah Carey, is blessing us, her loyal fans, with her new album Me. I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse.

We remain unworthy.

I’m so happy to say that the album is fantastic; a body of work that reminds us why she is such a superstar in the first place.
Anything Mariah touches turns to gold, whether it’s her judging gig on Idol, her fragrances (Lollipop Bling, anyone?), or her criminally underrated role in Glitter. You’ll never catch Mariah serving up anything less than her very best. Her new album is no different.

The girls of Floss Gloss created a polish for their Spring/Summer 2014 All The Fixins collection called Honey, which is inspired by Mariah Carey.

People freak out over Floss Gloss glitters because they’re basically an after party in a bottle, and Honey is a fantastic new addition to their glitter family. A holographic bronze glitter bomb that reaches full coverage in two coats, Honey is a beautiful bronze baby that’s multidimensional, eye-catching and a fantastic summer color. And look at how well the polish goes with Mariah’s new album cover!

By now, you’ve probably heard of Floss Gloss, as they are slowly, but surely taking over the nail polish industry. It’s impossible to scroll through Instagram or bop around your favorite beauty blogs without seeing a couple of their LAVISH bottles.
It all comes down to the fact that it’s a great product created by cool chicks that, like us, are completely obsessed with nails.

The rest of the collection is made up of three beautiful crème polishes. First is Wet a bright, creamy turquoise.

I love a great turquoise. This color contains that special Floss Gloss witchcraft that makes the color so rich and bright that it basically jumps off your skin. Wet is the original Floss Gloss color that started it all!

Wet perfectly matches Mariah's turquoise minidress on the cover of Can't Take That Away. COINCIDENCE?

Next is Biscuits, a color I like so much that it gives me anxiety. A warm off-white, Biscuits is a new classic that is second only to my other FG favorite, Dinge.

Biscuits is a perfect warm cream, one that perfectly compliments the cover to Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel.

Sometimes it's hard to make light polishes look even, but Biscuits applies like a dream and looks perfect in two coats. Plus, it’s fast drying so if you just calm down and sit still for two minutes and let your nails dry, you’ll have a flawless manicure in no time.

Here I am wearing/worshipping Biscuits on my Broo article:

Last we have Picnic, somewhere between a brick red and a cranberry with just a hint of grey.

This is the perfect red for the holiday season, or say, the cover of your Christmas album Merry Christmas...

...or its follow up, Merry Christmas II You

Even if you’re not dropping a Christmas album any time soon, Picnic is a great, warm summer red to perfectly match your picnic table cloth and red solo cups.

Are you as obsessed as I am? What are your current favorite polish colors? What's your favorite Mariah song! Let's talk it out in the comments!
